Specialized in the design of high-end custom furniture since 1985, L'Aubier is a Belgian carpentry company based in Nivelles. The craftsmen create a wide range of custom furniture: closets, office furniture, bookcases, store fittings, restaurants, living room fittings, kitchens, bathrooms and other custom furniture. The teams carry out the design, the manufacture and the installation.
The management of the company was very manual. The new manager wanted a system that could follow the ongoing construction sites, a reporting tool to know the profitability of each site and a tool that manages the stocks of raw materials and purchases.
Eezee has implemented a complete and partially automated workflow: making the offer, accepting the offer which generates a purchase order which in turn triggers a production order, creates the tasks to be carried out and leads to a purchase order for raw materials. To do this, Eezee implemented the Sales (quotations), Project (project follow-up), Production (workshop assembly), Purchasing (raw material purchasing) and Inventory (stock management) modules. The company also wanted all accounting to be managed in Odoo. Eezee therefore added the Accounting and Cost Accounting modules, which generate a real-time report on each project, providing immediate information on margins.
The manager now has real-time access to his profit and loss account (P&L). He can thus know his margin permanently, has a better follow-up of the building sites and of their progress. By implementing all the accounting in Odoo, the invoicing was facilitated (less double encoding of invoices) which generated a saving of time which allowed them to devote more time to optimization.
